NO MONEY? BORED? NO HOLIDAY PLANS?

Summer Challenge 08 is an exciting new approach to recruitment in the Territorial Army (TA). You can fast-track your training and become a qualified soldier in just seven weeks – earning £1,500 gross (approx) in the process.

You’ll be outdoors doing shooting, canoeing, rock climbing, orienteering, first aid, weaponry, drill, field exercise and loads more. You can even learn to drive and pass your test at the same time – and it won’t cost you a penny.

Who knows, if you enjoy it, you may in time be visiting Cyprus, Macedonia and Lithuania or even be deployed on an operational tour to Afghanistan or Iraq.

Summer Challenge 08 takes place at Malta Barracks, Aldershot between July 19 - September 5 2008. The TA is recruiting soldiers and officers as part of Summer Challenge 08.

Being in the TA is part-time which means you can combine college, university or even a Monday to Friday job.
