Last Year's Event

Following the successful event in the West Midlands last year Summer Challenge 08 aims to roll out the opportunity to a wider audience. Last year in the Midlands 166 people took part in Midlands Challenge. From that number more than 130 completed the training and were successfully passed out.

These recruits are now working at units across the West Midlands. Many are already in line for promotion having travelled abroad and completed various other training exercises. Some have even started officer training at The Royal Military Accademy Sandhurst. Midlands Challenge will run its own programme again this year.
